Fluoride Varnish Treatment for Young Children

Exciting news! We are now offering topical fluoride varnish treatments for young children! The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children have fluoride varnish applied to their teeth every 3-6 months starting when their first tooth appears. We are happy to offer this service as part of children’s check-ups! The varnish is painted onto each tooth with a small brush and quickly dries on the teeth. Dental health is so important and we love helping to keep kids’ teeth cavity-free!

As a reminder, the AAP also recommends brushing children’s teeth with a smear of fluoride toothpaste twice daily starting from the appearance of their first tooth. At 3 years old, it can be increased to a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste. Happy brushing!
