Meet David Jeong, MD

Food allergy care has been a major focus of Dr. Jeong’s clinical and research career. Dr. Jeong’s experience with food allergy research dates to 2009, when he began studying the immune mechanisms of food allergies through NIH-funded research. He went on become a principal investigator for early research studies examining peanut epicutaneous immunotherapy (“peanut patch”), peanut oral immunotherapy (OIT), and multi-food OIT with and without Xolair. He has continued on throughout his career as a principal investigator for multiple clinical research studies examining various medications, biologics and immunotherapies for food allergies.

Dr. Jeong began implementing OIT in clinical practice in 2015 and offers OIT, sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) and Xolair (omalizumab) to treat a wide range of food allergies. Through years of research and clinical experience, Dr. Jeong understands that each patient with a food allergy has a unique journey and experience. This understanding allows him and the Food Allergy Care Center to design highly individualized diagnostic and treatment plans that address the exact needs of every patient.
