Spring Valley Pediatrics Allergy & Immunology
Dr. David Jeong, MD is board-certified in Allergy & Immunology and treats patients of all ages with asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinus disease, eczema, hives (urticaria), swelling (angioedema), eosinophilic esophagitis, drug allergies, stinging insect allergies, and immune deficiencies. He specializes in food allergies and has dedicated his career to the development and use of innovative therapies that improve safety, quality of life, and long-term outcomes for patients with food allergies. He is passionate about developing individualized treatment plans and partnering closely with patients and families to provide clear guidance, education, and ongoing support.
Most recently, Dr. Jeong served as the Director of Clinical Allergy and Immunology at Columbia University / New York-Presbyterian in Westchester County, NY. Prior to his time in New York, he was a partner at the Institute for Asthma and Allergy in the Washington, DC area, where he founded a dedicated food allergy treatment center for patients with food allergies. He was previously Division Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Virginia Mason/Benaroya Research Institute and Assistant Professor at the University of Washington Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, WA.
He completed his fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at the University of Washington Medical Center. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, his medical degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, and his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University.
Dr. Jeong will be returning home to DC this summer and is excited to join Spring Valley Pediatrics to serve patients in the DMV.
