On weekends and holidays we see sick children in the office in the mornings as needed. Please call the office after 8:00 am on weekends and holidays to get an appointment for that day.

After Hours

At Spring Valley Pediatrics we pride ourselves on being readily accessible to our patients. We have a doctor on call and in the office every day of the year, including weekends and holidays.

• Evenings
  Call the main Spring Valley Pediatrics number 202-966-5000 and you will be forwarded to the answering service. If your call is an emergency, please be sure to communicate this to the operator. The on-call doctor will return your call. In the unlikely event that you have not heard back in 30 minutes, please call the answering service and ask that the doctor be paged again.

The doctor call-in hours are a great way to reach your doctor directly to ask any questions that you may have about your child’s health and to schedule sick visits. Please see the table below for call-in times and numbers. Please note that the call-in phone numbers will only reach the doctors during the stated call-in times. If you need to reach a doctor at any other time, please call 202-966-5000.

Appointments

We will do everything we can to accommodate your schedule and will provide same day appointments for sick visits. Please call us in advance to schedule a time. Please arrive at least ten minutes prior to your appointment time.

New Patients

If you are coming to our practice for the first time, you may complete a New Patient Forms prior to arriving.

Well Child Visits

Call 202-966-5000 to schedule a well child visit with your doctor.

Sick Child Visits

Call 202-966-5000 or your doctor during their call-in hours to make all sick visit appointments.

Rescheduling

If you have made an appointment but are unable to keep it, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

Late for an Appointment

Please call and we will try to work you into the schedule later that same day.

No Show Policy

We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment book. We will charge a fee for any appointment that is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

Due to the sensitive nature of most medical matters, we do not routinely use email to communicate with patients. Please feel free to call during normal business hours or during your doctor’s call-in time.
