Jessica M. Long, M.D.

Dr. Long

Dr. Jess Long, was a patient here at Spring Valley Pediatrics when she was a child. After attending Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, she received her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she began her medical career as a volunteer emergency medical technician. Dr. Long continued her training at Georgetown University School of Medicine and remained at Georgetown University Hospital for her pediatric residency. While there, she was honored four times with awards for excellence in teaching medical students. She comes to Spring Valley Pediatrics as a board-certified pediatrician after working as chief resident of the Georgetown University Hospital Pediatric Residency Program.

Dr. Long’s practice has taken her on volunteer missions to the Dominican Republic, Kenya, and the Amazon. She now lives in the Kent neighborhood of the District with her husband, three daughters and son. She still roots for Gonzaga high school sports and runs to the Washington Monument and back whenever she gets a chance. Dr. Long is excited to bring the same superb care to her own patients that she once received at Spring Valley Pediatrics.
