SPRING VALLEY PEDIATRICS IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING YOU THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF MEDICAL CARE.
At Spring Valley Pediatrics we emphasize the importance of individualized, personalized care. Our doctors are committed to providing the best possible care for your children and recognize that continuity of care is one of the best ways to achieve this goal. Children do best when they know what to expect. Therefore, typically, you and your child will see his or her “own” doctor and nurse at every visit.
Prenatal Visits
Congratulations! You’re having a baby! Choosing a pediatrician is an important decision. We encourage expectant parents to schedule a complimentary prenatal visit in our office. This visit allows you to become acquainted with the physician, to ask questions about the care of your child, and to learn about our practice. Please call our office at 202-966-5000 to arrange your prenatal visit.
We look forward to getting to know you and caring for your family!
Newborn Care in the Hospital
Our doctors care for newborns at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Georgetown University Medical Center. Our newborns at George Washington University Hospital, INOVA Fairfax, and Holy Cross Hospital are seen by the pediatric hospitalists. When you pre-register or arrive at the hospital for your delivery, be sure to inform them of the pediatrician’s name so that they may contact our practice when your baby is born. We will see you and your baby within 24 hours and continue to care for your baby throughout your stay.

Clinical Laboratory
Spring Valley Pediatrics has an in-office laboratory providing a wide variety of laboratory testing as well as specimen collection for samples sent to reference labs. The lab is accredited as a “Moderate Complexity Laboratory” by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation.
Accreditation is given only to laboratories that apply rigid standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey every two years. Recently, our lab received a “Perfect Survey”; the highest possible accreditation score. The lab has an experienced staff of Medical Technologists and a phlebotomist who have a combined experience of more than 50 years.
Consultations
All of the pediatricians at Spring Valley Pediatrics are trained in the management of common medical and mental health related problems in children including sleep problems, school problems, behavior issues, eating disorders, learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder management. Most of these issues will be handled by your doctor here in our practice.
If we feel that your child’s care would benefit from consultation with a medical or mental health sub-specialist, we will help you schedule an appointment with an appropriate pediatric specialist. We work closely with most pediatric sub-specialists in the Baltimore-Washington area and will facilitate getting your child the care he or she needs from reliable consultants.
